Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition (refurbished version of Galaxy Note 7) has been sold out within two months of its launch. This phablet has been completely sold out and Samsung has no plans to sell more units.
Samsung has sold out 4,00,000 units in its home country and currently, it is planning to release the Fan Edition overseas.
The price tag of Samsung Galaxy Fan Edition is around $620, which is $265 cheaper than the original Galaxy Note 7 Model. When compared to the original Galaxy Note 7, the Fan Edition has less battery storage (3200mAH).
While the industry analysts were sceptical about the battery issues that Galaxy Note 7 had created in past, the home country users welcomed the new Fan Edition unphased by the previous Note 7 issues. The home country users have seen this as an opportunity to grab the flagship identical phone, which is coming at a low price when compared to Galaxy Note 7.
Meanwhile, Samsung has opened the pre-booking for Galaxy Note 8 in South Korea. This flagship model is expected to hit the stores globally in September 2017. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is an upgraded version of its predecessor in terms of its chipset (Snapdragon 835). It runs on Android Nougat out of the box and it has internal storage of 64GB, which can be expanded to 256 GB by adding up an external SD card.
Right now, Samsung is focused only on promoting its upcoming products rather than focusing on the sales of Galaxy Note 7 Fan Edition.
