Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom Available at a Lower Price Than Previously Expected

The latest smartphone by Asus, ZenFone 3 Zoom is finally available in the United States at the cost of 329 dollars and online retailers in the country have also started selling this phone.

Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom was set to release at an earlier price of $399 and this was because of a specification upgrade, which was later scrapped by the company due to which the launch price was reduced for the smartphone.

The variant having 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage has been launched in the US, but the 4GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage variant was launched earlier in the year in China. This Tuesday, the company issued a statement in which they announced the smartphone’s general availability.

The feature that stands out in this Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom is the dual rear camera setup. This setup has a 12 MP rear camera that has a Sony IMX362 sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 and another rear camera of 12 MP that has an option of 2.3x optical zoom. The primary camera has a main lens, which is a 25mm wide angle one.

The front camera is also pretty awesome with a 13 MP camera with a Sony sensor IMX214 and aperture of f/2.0. This camera also has a screen flash feature. The phone is also going to have RAW file support and there would be an update for the latest Android Nougat 7.0. There is going to be a Manual mode for all the photography enthusiasts.

This lightest and thinnest phone features a 5000mAh battery and there would be dual SIM smartphones as well. The phone weighs 170 grams and is 7.9 mm thick.

Some other specifications of this phone is that it is going to run on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and the display would be AMOLED and a full HD 5.5 inch screen. The processor is going to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625.
